Subject: Bross vs. Mustafina on beam, kinda funny. I don’t hate Bross but Mustafina sure is prettier to watch.

This is Fan Ye of China, winning the Balance Beam event finals at the 2003 Anaheim World Championships. Lovely routine! I love the phrase “disciplined landings” from the announcer! She scored a 9.812 for this routine, placing her ahead of Catalina Ponor (ROM) in 2nd and Ludmila Ezhova (RUS) in 3rd.

Ahhhhh I love this routine :)

Stunning. This beam routine is poetry in motion. It never stops, one move flowing straight into the next. Beautiful.

 THIS ^^^^

SO beautiful! Had to reblog for educational purposes, in case there is a gym fan somewhere who has not seen it. And it’s just a practice routine! Her extension and rhythym and artistry…there are few routine I’d describe as ‘breathtaking’ but this is one. :)

Not a montage but a great 100th post!

So this is one of my favorite “Workout Wednesdays”. The site Gymnastike.org, which I LOVE, does little documentary type deals of workouts in the top gyms around America. This one is of the level 10’s at Elite Champion Gymnastics in Texas. Pretty much all the top gyms are in Texas, just FYI.

So expect lots of video postings from gymnastike because it is one of my favorite websites…i should do a post on my favorite gymnastics websites!

Oooo I ♥ Workout Wednesday bigtime, it’s by far my favorite thing about gymnastike.
