Maybe it’s just because this was the first Olympics that I knew like EVERYTHING about every team and every gymnast and was 100000% into it, but I think this was the best gymnastics competition for a while :)

Love Nastia Liukin. Her floor routine is interesting and difficult. She does super-hard tricks and she does them flawlessly. I really do hope she still competes so she can be the world championship in the all around. Go Nastia!
I’m pretty sure she’s stated her vaulting days are behind her, but really at this point just her competing again at all in any capacity would be awesome. And I’m so glad she medalled on this event, helps make up for the other two medalists (nothing wrong with Shawn medalling but Izbasa as FX champion? No thanks. And I don’t even mind her, but no)
