what’s your general criteria for selecting a montage to feature on your blog?

Ah good question!

I’d like to tell you that I have a very specific criteria that I follow, where I carefully weigh my selections against a pre-formulated list of well-thought out standards and qualifications…but in all honesty the montages I pick are completely to my personal taste and the reasons can be arbitrary. And for this reason I really do appreciate feedback and suggestions, to mix things up a bit :)

But generally speaking what I look for is:

1. Music selection - this is the most important with me
2. Editing - a little goes a long way
3. Quality - I’m really particular about video quality, I hate seeing a really good montage ruined by poor video quality - save at a high bit rate people! I realize youtube is to mostly blame for this, but still.
4. Subject - obviously I love random montages but I also enjoy seeing subjects or people not normally featured
